For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.  -Habakkuk 2: 3

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither (there), but watereth the earth and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  -Isaiah 55:10,11

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; but the things which seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. -2 Corinthians 4:17,18

For this message, I’d like to take from the scripture of text in Isaiah 55:10&11 “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither (there), but watereth the earth and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” And also, 2 Corinthians 4 beginning at verse 17... “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not see; but the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

I would also, like to make reference to the word polarity. When researching the dictionary, it defined polarity as:
 1.    The quality or condition inherent in a body that exhibits opposite properties or powers in opposite parts or directions or that exhibits contrasted properties or powers in contrasted parts or directions: the condition of having poles.

 2.    The particular state either positive or negative with reference to the two poles or to electrification.

 3.    a: diametrical opposition b: an instance of such opposition

 4.    The property or characteristic that produces unequal physical effects at different points in a body or system, as a magnet or storage battery.

The definition which attracted my attention the most, in reference to this message, was (2) The particular state either positive or negative with reference to the two poles or to electrification. …And also, number (4) The property or characteristic that produces unequal physical effects at different points in a body or system, as a magnet or storage battery.

Based upon these depictions of polarity, it is my understanding that there is a possibility to have two extreme contrasting situations, at opposite ends of each other, existing at the same time.  …Two contrasting differences diametrically ( in direct opposition; being at opposite extremes; complete: diametrical opposites; a diametrical difference.)  pulling against one another as opposing opponents in a tug-o-war game. And so it is, at a time, when we as believers find ourselves receiving spiritually what God has given us in our spirit as opposed to the present state of our lives- the natural state.

In attempting to use polarity as a spiritual reference to help explain the extreme contrasting differences; one we see, the other we can’t see- with the one we cannot see being absolute and having precedence.  The one we can see being a negative- the natural state. The one we cannot see being a positive- the spiritual state. The one we cannot see is preeminent. It has priority- it is first. The natural cannot exist except it is first formed by way of the spiritual. “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” -Hebrew 11: 3.  For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:  all things were created by Him, and for Him:  And He is before all things, and by Him all things consists.” – Colossians 1: 16-17

God is the creator of all things both visible and invisible- both the spiritual realm and the natural realm. Both realms exist at the same time running and operating concurrently. However, the invisible or the spiritual realm is more real, than the visible with the invisible having precedence. You would think that because we see it in the natural, it exist first and then it becomes spiritual. Not so. Because God is spiritual and all things were made by Him and for Him, everything that comes from Him comes first from the spiritual realm and manifests into the natural.

The same occurs when God gives us a vision. If God gives us a vision, He will follow the same order as He does with creation. Anything that God gives us, it will begin in our spirit first. When God gives us a vision in our spirit, most times, it will not line up with our present reality- what we currently can see in the natural.

In the natural, you may be experiencing trials and tribulations- trouble on every side; life is just not going in the way that you dreamed and desired.  …Or, it doesn’t have to be so extreme. You’ve made all of the right moves and have done pretty well for yourself. You are content and satisfied with your life; then here comes God with His vision for you. He doesn’t get your permission and ask you if it’s okay if He can shake things up a bit. He just begins to show you how He’s going to move some things around and make changes in your life. It might cost you something. You might lose some stuff along the way. Maybe, even, some people… You didn’t ask for a vision- to you, everything was fine. But God‘s plans for our lives are always bigger and greater than what we plan for ourselves… And some of us needed the vision. Some of us longed for a vision from God. The problem is… can we receive the vision once He gives it to us?

God imparts His vision for our lives in our spirit. He gives us a vision of greater prosperity, health, healing, abundance in finances, greater resources in businesses, people; wholeness in relationships and family- doing things we’ve never imagined we could ever do ourselves. He shows us the blessings; blessed enough to be a blessing to others.  …God gives us all of these things, because it is His will for us to have them and not the other. Whatever God give us, He gives it to us first in our spirit. …If you have something and God didn’t give it to you in your spirit first, then it doesn’t belong to you.  …It’s not yours and you won’t have it for long.

…This is dealing with the Polarity, God’s Vision, Your Reality…

Has God ever given you a vision so extreme, so profound in comparison to your present state of living that it was difficult for you to accept or receive?  …Especially when your reality had been a reality for so long? You now believe that where you are, what you are doing, how you are living is all there will ever be to your life?

...Now this message is not for the ‘always have been blessed and highly favored folk’.  …Folk who ain’t never been through nothing. People who have never been through anything and have always had it together; made all the right choices in life, lined their lives up according to their perfect order and it all worked out perfectly… These kinds of people can have a tendency to be judgmental. This message is for people who have walked through the valley- and is probably still in the valley- and was told by God not to fear no evil, because He is with them… Amen?

…You are a single parent, raising five children; you work two jobs and pick up what little extra cash on the side to make ends meet. You live in an old shabby broken down house off the ally. When you step out of your back door, if it rained the night before, you might step out into a gushy mud pile. …You have the worst looking house on the block. On Halloween, you don’t have to dress your house up to look scary, it looks like the haunted house all year around. Kids just come ring the bell. .…But God has given you a vision of a brand new house: five bedrooms, three in a half baths, slated tiled walls in the shower- multiple shower heads, two family rooms, gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and coffered ceilings, finished basement, cherry hardwood floors, two in a half car garage…a perfect manicured lawn! …A backyard and no mud!…  Somebody shout, “No Halloween this year!”

…God showed you a vision of owning your own home; but in the natural, your reality, you can barely make the rent? …God showed you a vision of owning a car- brand new title free. It has been your dream and desire. He showed you a leather interior, wood grain dash, power this, power that… but in your reality, you are walking and riding the bus. You barely have bus fare. As a matter of fact, the last car you had, before it broke down and caught fire on a busy highway, you could barely get the windows to work. You would pull up to the drive through at the fast-food restaurant and have to open the door to give an order; the trunk leaked water whenever it rained and the water drained inside the interior. If it wasn’t for the hole in the floor on the passenger side in the front, you would be driving a moving fish tank.  …Credit so bad, you tried for a car loan and was turned down not once, not twice, but more than you can count. And now you’re unemployed. But God tells you that you will get the car anyway. He is so good!

…God gives you a vision of your spouse, but you’ve been single all of your adult life. Every time you meet someone new, you’re counting down the minutes for when it will end- because it always ends… somehow. You don’t know why, it just does. (That’s a message for another time.)  But you wonder if you will ever meet and marry the right one? You’re old now. The good years- to you- are gone; but God still shows you a husband- a wealthy (wealthy in all the right places too, wink, wink) tall, dark and handsome truly loving saved man of God. He will not only be your husband, provider, and spiritual partner, he will be your best friend.

…You don’t have two cents to rub together. Your bank account is always in the negative. The bank is about to close the account. But God has given you a vision of prospering in a business. It has been your long desire. You don’t know the first thing about starting a business or where you will get the money; but He is telling you it will be okay, to trust Him. You will have the business.

…Johnny is always in trouble. You had trouble with him since he was 10-years-old and now he’s 23. He dropped out of high school, no plans or thoughts for college; been in and out of jail four times already; so he has a record. He hangs around the wrong crowd all the time, always in some kind of trouble in the streets. If he’s not in trouble he’s passed out from drinking, can’t keep a job and he’s living with you. Where else is he going to go?  Nobody else will have him? You want to kick him out, but something keeps telling you not to give up on him. …Out of all of your children, he turned out to be the black sheep. But God has shown you a vision of Johnny being great. A great preacher… the one He has chosen to minister and lead a magnitude of people to Him- even that wrong crowd he hangs around. God shows you Johnny helping to get souls saved and delivered… when Johnny, right now, needs deliverance himself? It’s God’s vision.

What God showed you was so profound that when you came to and looked around at your present state, your reality, you wondered if it was just wishful thinking.  …“Is this God really showing me this or is my situation so drastic that a moment of fantasy gives me ease?”  And so you continue wondering and doubting, until you almost doubt the vision away and begin to say things like, “My situation is so dismal, that can’t happen for me. It is impossible for my struggles to change, I am not good enough, I don’t know how…  And anyhow, every time I take two steps forward, I get knocked ten years back. My credit is so messed up that a thief would still my identity, turn around, and come right back and sue me for messing him up! Nobody will ever give me anything with credit like that! How could this be? I’ve been like this for so long, maybe this is who I am and all I will ever be. Whatever… wishful thinking.” Shut. Up! Shut. Your. Mouth! When in doubt and unbelief and you don’t know what to say, don’t say nothing at all! For the word of God says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” –Psalm 18: 21. It’s not about what you can do anyway. It is about what God is going to do in your life! What is impossible with man, all things are possible with God (Luke 18:27).

The number one problem with your thinking is your thinking and then you proceed to bring it into existence with your speaking. What you say with your mouth, comes out and goes into your heart. Not your physical heart, but your spirit- the center of your being. What you say and speak on a continuous bases, you will begin to believe and that is what will manifest in your life. That is what you will see coming to pass. As believers, we must always guard out hearts. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” The word of God also says, "The just shall walk by faith and not by sight," -II Corinthians 5:7. God’s says in His word to focus on the things that are eternal; which is Him, and not on the things that are seen- things that are contrary to His word and to His promises for they are temporary.

God is showing you, in your spirit, that whatever you are going through, you are coming out. He is going to bring you out. In Romans 4:17 it says that God calleth those things which be not as though they were.  We have to be like Abraham, having the faith like him. The bible says, “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.” –Romans 4:20. Without faith it is impossible to please God - Hebrew 11: 6.  His word also says to think it not strange concerning the fiery trial (painful ordeal) which is to try you (test your faith), as though some strange thing happened to you – 1 Peter 4: 12 and 13. God says to rejoice in your tribulations, not to give place to the devil, and that the joy of the Lord is your strength.

When you doubt God and walk in fear, the vision He has shown you gradually fades away, because of unbelief.  As long as you keep thinking and speaking negatively against what God has given you, you will cause it not to come to pass. It will go further and further out of your mind and out of your spirit- until you have erased it completely. This happens because you allow your circumstance, your reality- the natural- to take precedence over what God has promised you in the spirit. It is fear and unbelief over faith and believing. Jesus said  to only believe. …Just believe. He has given you life, but you have to want to posses it. It is not God erasing the vision; but it is your lack of faith and unbelief in Him to do what He says He will do. Amen?

Because God loves you, He will not give up on you and because you are His beloved, He will keep pressing upon your spirit until your thoughts line up with His thoughts. Because of where you are, it may take a while- depending upon when you decide you’ve had enough, and you will trust and stand on His word, and what He has promised. He said He will never leave you, nor forsake you. And He won’t. It’s all on you. One of His promises to you as a believer is, “For as much as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not there, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” -Isaiah 55:10,11. And in lining your thoughts up with what God says about you, you begin to speak the life He is showing you by speaking things like: “Despite all of this and what I see, I’m going to just keep trusting God, anyway. I will not focus on what I see or what I think. I believe God. It’s hard sometimes, but there is more to my life than this. I know God did not bring me here, bring me this far, delivered me through trials and tribulations just to allow me to live like this. He said in His word that He will never leave me, nor forsake me. …This lack is not His will for my life.” Glory to God! You are now in agreement with God! Amen?

Why would God continue pressing encouragement upon your spirit? In Ephesians 1: 3-5 it says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ; according as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love; having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will.”  In other words, you were predestinated by God before the foundation of this world to have what He is showing you in your spirit, it is His promise, He loves you and has a plan and blue print for your life!

When you go to the scriptures apply what God has given you to your situation and meditate on the word of God; speaking faith filled words to yourself in the Lord and speaking faith filled words about the vision that He has given you, you guard your heart. You are keeping your faith built up and you, also, honor God by honoring His word. And because you honor Him, by consistently honoring His word, He will honor you and bring that vision to pass. In other words, no matter what your situation looked like, you held on. When this happens, God will then begin to speak to you, giving you spoken encouragement and faith. He gives rhema by saying to you,“My Grace is sufficient. My strength is made perfect in you and when you are weak, you are strong. You can make it. You will get through this and receive what I have already given you. Though the vision tarry, wait for it, though it is for an appointed time, it will surely come.  It will speak and not lie.”  The Holy Spirit instructions and guides on what to do. He comforts you and encourages you to get you back on track and focused on God’s vision. However, it would be impossible to receive this assurance if you were not receiving God’s word. Not just reading- but receiving and believing. You are in relationship with Him. If you were not reading the word of God and meditating on it, it would be difficult for you to effectively receive God’s rhema word; because of not honoring His written Word. Amen?

When God revealed to me in my spirit, His vision for my life and all the things He’d planned for me, my destiny, my purpose, and my walk in Him, He revealed to me the things He wanted me to do, and all of the things He would do. And as I was living my reality, I began to compare my reality to God’s vision. I was living the polarity.  Two extremes at opposing ends, one very different from the other- one spiritual, the other natural- happening at the same time- running concurrently. At times, the vision would be so surreal I had to stop and take stock and think,“Oh, wow!” It was awesome. Imagine being in a position where you are in a pretty tough spot in life. Things just seem to move in the opposite direction of where you desired or planned to be; but then God begins to show you places in life so real, so peaceful, so full and whole that you want to just jump right into it at that very moment- but you can’t?! One is the reality that you are currently standing in and the other is where God is going to take you; which is so much better! It brought tears of joy to my eyes and I began to thank Him. When you are able to do this, you believe you have received; despite what you see. Your spirit and soul in agreement with one another, working together, are in agreement with God’s word. …You whole heartedly believing that God loves you and He is going to do what He says. You have settled it, in your spirit and in your mind that it’s yours! Now God can move and things will begin to happen and manifest from the spirit realm into the natural.

As God began to show me His vision, I asked Him, "why does it feel so strong as if I can just stop what I’m doing, stop my life now and just jump right in and start living it- although I can‘t right now?”  He said, “What I have shown you is real. Even if it appears extreme. My vision for you is more real than your reality. It is more real than the life you currently live. It does not matter what hardships, what trials, and tribulations you are experiencing right now. What I have for you is better and greater. You are blessed”  And that’s when I thought of the word ‘polarity'. I’d heard a preacher use it before; but now, it was coming to me on a personal level. And then, God said to me, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you; thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” - Jeremiah 29:11.  “I am not a man that I should lie. The words that I have spoken over your life will come to pass, and will not return unto Me void. Trust in Me and I will do what I said I will do.”  Psalm 37: 3-5 says, “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.”

Now that you believe what you will receive, the other challenge faced along with trusting God and believing He will do what He said, is the waiting period.  …The long intense waiting period- the long, long middle- the time in between where you are and the promise of what’s to come.  During this time, it is possible to grow tired and weary; become discouraged in the waiting period and want to give up. You think, “The darkest hour is right before day break.” And then you wonder, “Well…how long is the hour?”  The Holy Spirit tells you, “Weeping may endure for a night; but joy comes in the morning.”  You wonder, “Well, how long is the night?”

You noticed I mentioned ‘wonder’ and not ‘said’? (lol) As a reminder, in all of this, as believers, we have to be cognizant of our speaking; les the enemy will attempt to use this time as an opportunity to steal away faith and plant doubt and unbelief. In the waiting period, the time in between your reality and your promised blessing, you have to go to the word and begin confessing, “Let me not be weary in well doing, for I will reap in due season if I faint not, I will wait upon the Lord and I shall renew my strength. I will mount up with wings as an eagle, I shall run, and not be weary; and I shall walk, and not faint. Though the vision tarry, I will wait for it; because it will surely come, at the end it shall speak, and not lie!” You have to take the scriptures and literally put yourself in them and speak them over yourself. You become the scriptures. This is, according to scripture, not only being hearers of the word, but also doers of the word. You become the word as if looking at yourself in a mirror.

While God operates by faith, the enemy operates by fear. Faith contaminated is fear tolerated.  Fear is only false evidence appearing real. Fear is a weapon of the enemy; but the enemy has limited power. If he can get you to believe him and stop believing God, you increase his power. And because the enemy does not have the power that God has, his resources are also limited. The devil only has what he has; because he is a fake and he replicates what God has already created. He uses it for evil and for the kingdom of darkness. The devil is a pretender and a whole lot of nothing- not to mention a liar and there is no truth in him. He comes to steal and kill and roar like a lion, but Jesus has given us power and authority over the enemy. As saints of God, we truly must know, understand, and stand firm in who we are in Christ. Know our identity. Through Christ, we have dominion over the enemy and his camp. In Luke 10: 19 it says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”  The devil is only what we allow him to be in our lives. But God says, “I am the First, and I am the Last; and beside Me there is no God. - Isaiah 44:6. All power flow through My hands! By Me were all things created, even the devil!  …Both visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers they all belong to Me. And because I am God and I am Sovereign, and you are My people, I give to you dominion over all the earth!” - Genesis 2: 26. God says, “I have given you the land, now you must posses it! And you will have whatever you say!” Amen?!

How many know that when God opens up the windows of heaven, He can pour out blessings, you won’t have room enough to receive?  “But as it is written eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” -1 Cor. 2: 9 and He is able to do, exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think! So do not focus on you or your present circumstance when God is giving you a vision; but focus on Him and lean to His word to align your thinking up with His. As believers, we must believe, all while thanking Him for our troubles, thanking Him for our trials, and thanking Him for the vision!  When you share your vision with others, even though you don’t have it, yet, you are also speaking it into existence- for God calls those things which be not as though they were! It is His word and so, why not you? You walk in it as if it has already happened until it shows up. It doesn’t matter how extreme it may appear to people or how much they laugh and say you live in a fantasy and you have a very vivid imagination. First of all you must surround yourself around people with vision in the first place. You must surround yourself with people with ambition, people who know and understand and will help to propel you into your God given destiny! If you are around people who are talking contrary to what God has shown you in your spirit, then you must remove yourself from those vision killers and destiny stealers! …Unbelievers, so to speak! You must get in a circle of  believers, who fix their faces like a flint and don‘t care what people think when it comes to what God says! Isaiah 50:7 says, “For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed (disappointed). Amen!! You know what God showed you!  Keep speaking it and speak it until it shows up! And if it is a world of fantasy- so be it! If it is a world that belongs to God, then that’s where you want to be- wherever He is! Some of you (including me) had and have been riding that promise train for a long time (doing nothing but sitting there with a lack of faith, filled with lots of doubt and unbelief, devil had you fooled) and missed many stops to get off and take what belongs to you! ...What God says was yours- too scarred to get off, too ignorant of the word to get off, don’t know how to get off…or just didn’t get off… but thanks be to God and His word, no more stops will be missed anymore! Hallelujah!

For a last thought…as believers, we have to keep in mind that when God gives us a vision, it does not always mean, it will happen right away.  We have a tendency to begin questioning when, how, where? When God gives us a vision, we have to also know and understand that His timing is not our timing. We must labor to enter into His rest through belief and trust Him. We must continue to rely upon His word. If the vision does not come right away, it must mean that you are in a preparation period. And what God has for you, is for you- just not now. So begin to seek Him on what you need to do to prepare for the promise. Forget all of that other stuff around you that has nothing to do with the vision. Prepare for the promise, because the vision is not always going to be a vision. God’s invisible is working for you- God’s background working on your foreground- the invisible, the spiritual- working its way towards a manifestation. You do what God tells you to do in the natural; while He takes care of the spiritual. It is conducive to a caterpillar preparing for a new life as a beautiful butterfly. Amen?!

When the vision manifests, you want to be prepared and ready to move on it! Ready to receive it! Profess to the Lord, “I am not leaning to my own understanding, because I trust and believe in You, Lord, and Your word that You got this! For I know that my reality is only a polarity of Your vision- which will come to pass!” AAmen!
